Billet Manufacturing Process

At VGS, we produce high-quality PTFE billets using precision-engineered compression molding dies. The process starts with loading carefully weighed free-flow PTFE powder into our stainless-steel molds. Using hydraulic presses, we compress the powder under high pressure to form green billets.

These billets are then transferred to our sintering ovens where they undergo a tightly controlled temperature profile, transforming them into solid, void-free billets with exceptional strength and surface finish. Our free-flow powders ensure excellent mold fill and uniform density, while granular PTFE is also available for specific customer requirements.

We work with globally trusted PTFE suppliers such as Daikin, 3M Dyneon, PFLON and others to ensure consistency and traceability. All billets are visually inspected, dimensionally checked, and density tested to meet international standards.
